Marcy from Tidal CrossFit Danforth recently completed the Tidal Nutrition 6-week challenge, paired with ongoing dedicated to CrossFit classes, and is down 9lbs and 12.8 inches. Congrats, Marcy!

We asked her a few questions about her experience with the nutrition challenge and Tidal:

What is your biggest take away from the Nutrition Challenge?  

“To eat defined ratios of food frequently. I actually had trouble eating all the portions I was supposed to eat. The other thing was that I seemed to always either be eating, or preparing to eat at first. Getting a supply of pre-made portions (freezing single servings from a large batch) helped a lot.”

What transformations have you experienced since joining Tidal?

“I started a high-stress job at the same time as joining Tidal. I believe I am handling the increased stress much better because of my work with Tidal. I feel proud of the WODs I have accomplished and excited about the skills that I am working on attaining.”

What is your favourite part about being a member at Tidal? 

“The community. There are so many kind, supportive, positive people. It is a family.”

What would you say to someone who is too scared/intimidated to walk through our doors to get started?

“The coaches will make sure you are working at a safe and appropriate level for you. There are plenty of people at all different ability levels, the focus is on your own journey. Just give it a try!”
