“Leila has been extremely coachable right from the beginning when she joined Tidal last summer. This summer she has taken a huge climb up the ladder with her Olympic movements and her power clean specifically.
I have coached her so much and she has grown tremendously as an athlete with the way she moves and her confidence in herself, and also her mentality on attacking workouts. It is so cool to sit back after you have coached someone over a year and just see how much they’ve grown physically and mentally.
Leila is one of those athletes that really makes me grateful for what I get to do every day. Leila is a great friend and always has a huge smile on her face. We are very lucky to have her at Tidal.”

“Odai has been attending classes at Bronte consistently for the last year and a half, and is a regular in the afternoon classes. He manages to regularly make it to class and stay on track with his training despite a hectic work and travel schedule. He has made huge gains in his fitness over that year and a half as well across all areas.
You would be hard pressed to find anyone at the gym who doesn’t love having Odai in their class with them. Always quick with a joke or comment about how the workout is going to crush him, and yet always gives it everything he has no matter what. He is a pleasure to coach and takes cues well and works to improve for the next set, workout or lift.

“Kim has been a member of the Danforth community since December 2017. In that short time, she has exuded unwavering determination to improve her overall fitness. She never fails to amaze me during our PT sessions on Saturdays after already participated in the day’s class. I can speak for all of the Danforth coaches when I say her consistency and perseverance has paid off tremendously.
To top it off, Kim took part in our first nutrition challenge and saw amazing results and has continued to dial in her nutrition since then. She is an absolute pleasure to coach and I’m looking forward to seeing her reach even more fitness milestones!”
